Founded in 1994 by Dr. Jon Salisbury, Visiting Physician Services is one of the largest and most experienced house call practices in New Jersey. Renowned in his field, Dr. Salisbury was named the 2001 Physician of the Year by the American Academy of Home Care Physicians. With a clinical staff of 37 medical professionals, we are dedicated to being responsive, compassionate and professional in meeting the medical needs of our patients.
 
In addition, as of January 1, 2015, Visiting Physician Services joined forces with the Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) Health Group to better serve the frail elderly and homebound in New Jersey who need health care at home. VNA Health Group is New Jersey’s largest nonprofit Visiting Nurse Association that helps individuals and families achieve their best level of health and well-being by providing home health care, hospice, palliative and community-based care and operating private-pay personal care services. The combination will join Visiting Physician Services’ team of doctors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants with VNA Health Group’s more than 1,200 clinical staff of nurses, doctors, rehabilitation therapists, social workers, nutritionists and certified home health aides.
